About Anastasia Master Hair Stylist

I was born into a beautiful family in the former Soviet Union.

My passion for doing hair came to me when I was a little girl. First, I played with my doll’s hair and bribed family members to let me do theirs. I told my parents I wanted to be a hairstylist when I was just 10 years old.

I grew up in a family where college education was extremely important. My grandfather was a school principal. My dad was in the military, and my mom was a principle in a day care. Working all her life and raising a family. My parents didn’t approve of my career choice. They told me there was no way. I was told “you are going to college and getting a degree.”

I graduated from the local State University with a Master’s Degree, just to please my parents. Then I started to work. Every day, I watched people around me on the subway, on the street, and in the office and imagined cutting and coloring their hair.

For fun, I would do my friends’ and family members’ hair. It wasn’t just a hobby; it was a real passion. I was getting an education from different cosmetology schools besides building my real career my parents pushed me to do…

I never had a chance to be a professional hairstylist until I moved to the United States. I even learned how to improve my English by chatting with my clients (I speak 3 languages).

I feel blessed and thankful every day that I was able to fulfill my dream. Only in this country can you be successful in any profession if you work hard and follow your dream.

I love to make people look and feel beautiful. There is nothing more rewarding to me than to see my clients happy!
